I’ll keep the chitchat to a minimum because you’re looking for the best 1980s and 1990s movies to watch on Amazon Prime Video. These 37 teen movies from 1985–1995 might not be classics, but we rented them over and over on VHS. If your dad ever hooked up a rented VCR and let you stay up late on a school night when the video store ran $2 Tuesdays, this movie list is for you.

Clear and Present Danger 1994. Free on Amazon Prime Video. Clean it up with ClearPlay. Note that Amazon recently started charging to rent this movie (probably because more people want to watch it because of Amazon’s Jack Ryan series) and the new link has no ClearPlay filter.
