I just got a new referral offer for my Chase Ink Business Preferred card. The offer works for both the no annual fee and the $95 annual fee versions. Everyone is a small business owner now; just put your name as sole proprietor when applying.

Once you have the card, you will earn the $750 cashback bonus if you spend $7,500 in 3 months. That is a pretty steep spend but so is cost of living right now.
Chase Ink Business (Cash or Preferred):
- Gas: 2% cashback.
- Restaurants: 2% cashback; useful for travel bloggers, food bloggers, and business owners who like to meet up with clients and staff face to face over coffee or lunch.
- for the Chase Ink Business Cash: 5% cashback on cable, internet, and phone.
- for the Chase Ink Business Preferred: 3% cashback on shipping; social media and search engine advertising; travel; internet, cable, and phone services. Since we travel a lot (again…finally…) the 3% categories work better (than the Ink Business Cash) for our business, even accounting for the $95 annual fee.
- Everything else: 1% cashback.
You can also order additional cards for your teens. This works great for our family business as everyone 16+ who buys gas, food, phone, supplies, travel, etc. for the business has the right card in hand at all times, and you can view purchases by card, so you know which employee made each purchase.
Once you have your own Chase Ink Business card you will be eligible to share your referral by text, social media, or link. As of July 2022 your referral link will earn you 20,000 bonus points for each referral up to 5, so earn up to 100,000 in bonus points per year on this card. That’s $200 per referral cashback, or a slightly greater value in travel using points.
