Disneyland on a Budget in 2026

I’m using my Amex Blue Cash Preferred this month to buy Disney Gift Cards for our September Disneyland trip at Fry’s (Kroger) when Fry’s offers 4x fuel points coupon deals. So far with just $1000 in Disney Gift Card purchases, I’ve received 4,000 fuel points (that gives us four times filling up on gas with $1 off per gallon) plus $60 cash back from my Amex Blue Cash Preferred from buying the Disney Gift Cards at a grocery store (6% cash back). After 16 years in Phoenix, this is still how we do Disneyland on a Budget. Just using this one Amex card at Fry’s (Kroger), we get more than 13% off every Disneyland trip using $1 off per gallon of gas from Fry’s fuel points and the 6% cash back at grocery stores from our Amex Blue Cash Preferred card.
